I feel a little sad when I see a monkey -- just an animal is being controlled like this by people.
I think it is wrong! Animals should be treated with dignity. Who knows what horrible things that poor monkey will experience.
Maybe it is better if we send first an animal or robot rather than humans and then when he is in space and dye.
I am glad the monkey lived. It's remarkable to me that the U.S. sent a monkey into outer space in the 1940's.
